Most traveled Teddy Bear Winnie Pooh Bear.
There are always nice, sometimes emotional stories when an old bear arrives for restoration to our Teddy Bear Hospital. In August 2014 we received this little yellow bear with a letter we like to share with you.
“Dear Staff of Teddy Bear Hospital, enclosed please find me – Winnie Pooh Bear. I am 22 and 3/4 and have, to date, lived a very eventful life. I have visited The Bahamas, United States, Kenya, Oman, Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Taiwan and Singapore. I have lived in Ireland, Dubai, France & England.
However now, due to my delicate state, I have been left behind whilst my best friend Darrach has gone (probably forever) to Australia.
Can you please fix me up so I can join him on more adventures. Once I am sturdy again I know I can backpack with him around Oz and work in the mines if that is what he decides to do eventually. I hear there is a good chance of work in Namibia in 2015 – he is a geologist – and I have never been there.
Darrach’s Mom would pack me up very well and send me off to Australia in time for a Christmas surprise. Best regards me Winnie.”
