Where are you based and where do you ship from?
We are based in Ireland and only ship from Ireland.
Who do you ship with?
We ship with An Post Express in Ireland, with An Post International Priority Service within the EU and with An Post Courier outside of the EU.
When will my order be shipped?
Orders will be shipped every working day around 10 am. If we are on annual leave you will receive an email with the date of the order leaving.
Do you do same day delivery?
We are very sorry but we don’t do same day delivery.
Can I collect my order?
Yes you can collect your order directly from our gift shop in Bawnboy, County Cavan. Collection is possible 7 days a week if pre arranged.
What are your shipping costs?
Shipping in Ireland is €7.90, Shipping to UK €12. Please see here for shipping to other countries. View more shipping costs here
Do you charge VAT?
VAT is included on every product but will be deducted to any country outside of the EU.
Do I need to create an account to order?
No you can check out as a guest, if you prefer.
What shall I do if my order is late?
Please contact us as soon as possible. Delays are out of our hands but if you are not at home your Teddy Bear might end up in a parcel depot. Sometimes they try delivery again the next day, but they might just wait until you contact them instead.
Is it possible to track my order?
Yes absolutely! Every order can be tracked. For orders within Ireland we do not send the tracking on request. For any orders outside of Ireland you will receive your tracking code with your email shipping confirmation.
What is your return policy?
Please contact us if you want to return a Teddy Bear to us. You have 14 days after receiving your order to do so. Please note that we do not accept customised items for returns. View our full return policy here
What are your gift options?
We offer some gift options to make your Bear Essentials gifting experience extra special! You can add a greeting card to your order and let us know the message inside. You can add a gift bag, gift wrapping or our Bear Essentials cotton shopper to your order.
Do you do gift vouchers?
Yes we do. You can buy a money gift voucher that can be exchanged online or in our Teddy Bear Gift shop in Bawnboy, County Cavan. We also offer Teddy Bear workshop vouchers or gift vouchers to get a Teddy Bear restored. Please see here
Can a Teddy Bear be personalised?
Yes of course. You have several options to personalise your Teddy Bear gift. Add a leather name tag and we will engrave the name. You can also add a personalised t-shirt with embroidery. Please note while name tags can be done immediately, embroidery can take up to 2 weeks. For more personalisation options please see here
