Fairies In Ireland
Recently we made a startling surprise discovery. We followed quietly one of our resident red squirrels to our small conifer woods. What a surprise! We found a number of fairy doors at the bottom of some large spruce trees. They were only freshly made and still worked at. Anke and Nico hid in the woods to observe what was going on here. With a lot of luck and patience we were able to take a photograph of one fairy appearing at one the of the doors .
How amazing is this fairy!
What a beautiful creature. So small, timid and quiet we had to be very careful not to make a sound or movement to scare her away. This moment did not lasted very long. She vanished as unexpected as she arrived in a split second. But ever since we are spell bound, watching out in our woods for another magic moment. We hope to see her or her friends showing again.
Everybody needs a bit of magic, phantasy and imagination in their live today. A balance for our so realistic, scientific and technic driven world. If you like to see a fairy you have to be very quiet and calm and watch out for long times in our fairy wood at Bear Essentials.
There is a strange hole and cavity in one of our old tree trunks. It is definitely not used by the wee folks. Do you know what it is?
It is an old woodpeckers nest! How cool is that?
But if you like to see a place were fairies are coming into this world, there is no better place than “The Felt Fairies”!
This is a wonderful place were beautiful fairies are crafted in felt and wool. Showing a stunning variety of colours and expressions they make themselves very desirable.
As you can see there are fairies in Ireland!
