The Classic teddy bear has never lost his timeless appeal and for most people will remain a lifelong treasured friend.

My new collection of one-off limitations of both, traditional and contemporary teddy bears, are inspired by the beautiful countryside of County Cavan. All bears are handcrafted in a traditional way and are fully jointed to present a movable head and limbs. I use the finest quality of German mohair or alpaca, famous for it's pliable, silky, soft feel, making them irresistible to hold.
All of my teddy bears come with a certificate of Authenticity. It states the teddy bears name, edition number, the birthday and it is personally signed by me. You can fill in the new owners name or if you want to send him as a gift you can let us know the owners name and we will fill it in for you. My teddy bears come in different collections.
All the bears within a special collection are of similar design but they are still all on-off editions and every bear has its own character & personality. I also make one-off animals, mice. rats, shop exclusives and others who do not belong to any collection. While we try and add more and more bears to our online shop there are still more to look at in our teddy bear gift shop in Bawnboy, Co.Cavan>>> which is open every day. If you have an old bear who needs some tender loving care we will look after him in our teddy bear hospital. 

Please note that all of Anke's Mohair Teddy Bears are not safe for small children due to glass eyes. If you wish we can make one with plastic safety eyes for you.
