Set in the foothills of Slieve Rushen, in the picturesque Bréifne region of Co. Cavan in Ireland, a visit to the Bear Essentials teddy bear gift shop is a relaxing and inspiring experience.
Unique are Anke Morgenroth's original hand made Mohair teddy bears. They are "one off" editions for that special occasion gift and exclusive to Bear Essentials.
Bear Essentials teddy bear gift shop houses probably the largest collection of teddy bears in Ireland. Our ambition is to present you with teddy bears that are unique to us and not sold anywhere else in the Country.
Besides art, crafts and small toys we specialise in baby gifts, birthday presents, unique Christmas gifts, customised gifts, personalised teddy bears, cuddly toys and teddy bear commissions.
Our famous teddy bear brands are Steiff, Gund, Russ, Charlie Bears beside many others.

Bear Essentials Showroom is open 7 days of the week but we are closed if away for shows. We advice customers, who travel a long distance, to give us a call in advance just to avoid disappointment.

Entrance to the Teddy Bear Gift Shop and the Silver Bear Centre is free.
Workshops & parties have to be booked before arrival.
