Competition Entry Meszaroszoli – Hungary

July 23rd, 2010 Anke No comments

We were with you in early June, from Hungary.
Your shop and the bear center was a lovely place for my children, and us too.
I just read about Teddy Freezy, on your blog. Very cute idea.
Sorry, for my youngster Abel has not yet been able to write. Look at Abel’s face instead.  Lili, Abel, Nora & Zoltanpolar bear

You and your friends can vote for this image & story after the 5th of November – vote Meszaroszoli

The entry with the most votes is going to adopt teddy Freezy for Christmas and will give him a new home forever after.

Photo + Story Competition

July 22nd, 2010 Anke 1 comment

teddy bearTeddy Bear Freezy is just back from a walk.
He was looking for his friend who emigrated to Australia.
But of course he couldn’t find him.
Freezy is a stunning 54cm big German teddy bear. He loves nature, doesn’t mind cold weather and loves company.

Do you think you could give Freezy a new home?

All you have to do is to enter our competition and Freezy could be with you for Christmas.

Send us an image of you or your group and a teddy bear/teddy bears.
It could be a bear you have made during one of our workshops or just one of your favorite bears.
Tell us about yourself & your teddy bear. This could be an adventure you had together or about a special bond between him and yourself. The story is limited to max 100 words.

Oh I almost forgot- this is Teddy Freezy just climbing back over the fence.teddy bear freezy

So please send us your photo + story to info@bearessentials.ie with your name, school name or group name and we add it to our blog.

And by the way the public is going to vote. So it could be your family & friends voting for you.

Final entry date will be 5th of November.

Good luck to everyone. And if you like to visit Freezy here at Bear Essentials just come along. We love to meet you.

Teddy Bear Hospital – County Roscommon

July 5th, 2010 Anke No comments

The Roscommon County Play Day Family Event in Lough Key Forrest Park yesterday brought hundreds of visitors.
It is a fantastic place for families and offers lots to do. We were delighted to be part with our mobile teddy bear hospital and like to share the video with you.

The whole event made almost €1000 for Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

Jack brought his dog Spot who got caught in a fence. We stitched him up and Louise gave him a good brushing.

We think he looks so real.
